Here is my dilemma: I would like to make my hubby a gift for Valentines Day but I don’t want it to be centered around candy. My hubs and I have set a goal for ourselves to improve our diets and try to lead a healthier life. For us this includes no added sugar. Despite the fact that candy is my favorite food group (I might be related to Buddy the Elf) and Valentines Day is a major candy type of holiday, I want this Valentines Day to be centered around activities and gifts that you can’t eat.
Out of all the pins I’ve tried this one is definitely ranked number 1 as most time consuming. So I must warn anyone reading this that if you attempt this pin make sure you have 4 friends who really love you and will help. Or have a comfy chair and a show to binge watch while you do this. I ended up watching the whole 4th season of Homeland. (Carrie is crazier than ever).
My boyfriend Ben LOVEEESSS Jalapenos and anything spicy. So when I came across a Jalapeno Popper Recipe from The Girl Who Ate Everything with over 4,000 pins I had to give it a try. Seeing how Christy used crescent rolls also inspired me to think of other great ways I could use it. Maybe a pulled pork recipe or buffalo chicken next? Who knows, but this recipe is definitely worth a try.
This had to be the fastest and easiest project I have ever done. So if you’re looking for a last minute gift or party favor for New Year Eve, this is the one!
Cheers to our first pinterest fail! They happen to the best of us, but this one was definitely our fault. We purchased the wrong ingredients. We contemplated sharing this but eventually decided that a #pinterestfail is part of the process and we are definitely not perfect. So here you have it. Our first pintrosity…and really, it could be a lot worse 🙂
Well this was a big project to tackle and we had a lot of ideas going into it. From place cards, table runners, ambiance and more. We got a lot of inspiration from quiet a few pins on pinterest.
